FSAok works to protect your private information..
FSAok and FSAok-participating retailers use security technologies and techniques to protect your private information. FSAok protects stored information with firewalls, data encryption and system monitoring. We protect internet connections to FSAok services with SSL encryption, and secure password technologies. Our goal is to protect the privacy of your private information with security that we would use to protect our own.
And you can do a lot to protect yourself..
Learn to recognize authentic email from FSAok. When we send you email it will always contain your personal passphrase (and picture if you are using an HTML compatible email viewer). These are the same passphrase and picture that you chose when registering for FSAok. Disregard emails that don’t have it.
Never click a hyperlink in an email to login to FSAok. This is just a good security habit in general. But you should know that FSAok never requests personal information in an email. And FSAok will never send you a hyperlink in an email that will automatically bring you to a login page on the FSAok.com website. Knowing this can help you protect yourself from online ’phishing’ scams, in which hackers send bogus emails that look like they come from a reputable company, but are in fact designed to get you to give them your personal financial information.
It goes without saying, but pick a password that’s difficult to guess. Making your password difficult to guess is one of the most important ways that you can improve your personal security. It is also important to avoid using sensitive information like your mother’s maiden name or your social security number as your password. They can compromise security of your personal information. Also, remember that we will never send an email asking for your personal information, so disregard email that asks for it.
Don’t forget to logout and close your browser after visiting the FSAok website. That re-establishes the password security for your FSAok account and deletes sensitive information that may be temporarily stored in your browser.
